Bundjalung

Bundjalung Country stretches across northern New South Wales and southern Queensland, from the Logan River in the north to the Clarence River in the south, and inland to the Great Dividing Range. It is home to many interconnected clans, including Arakwal, Widjabul Wia-bal, and Minjungbal, each with their own deep cultural ties to land, waters, and skies.

Oliver Costello, Delta Kay, and Kris Cook share knowledge of making fire, with Oliver demonstrating the tools and techniques used to create flame.
Delta Kay shares Bundjalung knowledge of bush foods such as native ginger, guava, and black plums, and their many uses.
Delta Kay and Kris Cook share Bundjalung knowledge of mullet season, recalling how their Ancestors hunted bilin bilin (lorikeets), used plants for food and tools, and gathered by the coast for trade, marriage, and ceremony.
Delta Kay, Kris Cook and Nickolla Clark share Bundjalung knowledge of the mullet season, the night sky, and the southerly winds that signal change.
