The Jaara Community would like educators to understand that on Jaara Country, the foundation of people is Country and from Country comes Teachings. Teachings or Dreamings are very different and vary from Country to Country. There are a lot of Aboriginal people living on Jaara Country who come from other places. We all have different backgrounds and knowledges from our different Countries. Past governmental policies and practices have left a lot of our students and families experiencing generational trauma.
