Welcome to First Nations Perspectives: Professional Learning for Victorian Teachers with Jajoo Warrngara
This Professional Learning is designed for you to work both independently – through a series of six, self-paced learning modules – and together, through a scheduled one-hour online reflective workshop, designed to complement each Module.

About Sharon Williams
Sharon is a Pitta Pitta woman, educator and CEO of SharingStories Foundation. She worked for almost 30 years with the Queensland Department of Education and developed and led First Nations focused initiatives designed to improve outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people.
Sharon first joined SharingStories in 2021 as Director of Education with a drive to change teacher mindsets, recognising the importance of First Nations peoples’ voices in education. She led the development of Jajoo Warrngara: The Culture Classroom, an educator platform loaded with rich community led media and curriculum resources.
Sharon has continued to lead the platform's development with our team and community partners to co-design and create community-led education materials guided by community protocols set out by Elders in every participating community.
Jajoo Warrngara: the Culture Classroom
Throughout the modules, you will be directed to Jajoo Warrngara: the Culture Classroom. You should have received a login for Jajoo Warrngara by email. Workshop details, including a link to the online workshop, will be provided at the outset of each Module. (Workshops will be scheduled within 6-8 weeks of Module uploads.)
