Jirraginy joo Goorranrndal: Frog and Brolga

Year 5, Year 6 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Cultures, Arts, HASS

The Frog and Brolga is a story from North West Australia, in this case from the Gija people whose Country is now largely subsumed by the Purnululu National Park or the Bungle Bungle Ranges. Their story tells of a permanent waterhole at Gawarre and examines how the local people view water and its role in their lives.
